Mariko's Travel and Tours started with very humble beginnings.
The owner, Ms. Marites P. Salva, once dreamed of having her own travel agency while working at one of the travel agencies in Manila. At first, some of her acquaintances didn't believe in her. But a true entrepreneur never gives up in the face of challenges. Despite all those obstacles, she was thankful to those who didn't believe in her and used their doubt as inspiration to pursue her dreams.
Through prayers, strong will, and faith in God, she was able to open her own travel agency. She located the business in Malate, Manila, with one employee. The first business location had several problems, such as flooding when it rained, which caused documents to get wet and some electronics to become unusable. However, through continuous improvement and undying effort, she was able to fix the leaks, install air conditioning, CCTV cameras, and build-in computers.
Currently, the travel agency is gradually becoming known in Manila for the services it offers, including tours, airline ticketing, visa assistance, golf tours, hotel bookings, and other services. The number of employees has grown from one to ten. The business has been blessed with a cozy and well-maintained main branch in EVP Building, a second branch in Nakpil serving as the head office, and a latest branch situated next to the front desk of Manila Crown Palace Hotel.
Above all, Ms. Marites dedicates this business to our loving God, believing that everything is possible as long as you believe in Him.
